couple of scans from a book I just got off ebay, some great blueprint drawings in here too that I will scan at a later date! Details such as these are the kind of things I am considering implementing into the layout of my book. Also, I don't know why but I really like the cover.
the third dimension
I'm thinking about creating a 3d model/sculpture for the title page for each city of my style book, with objects that represent aspects of that city e.g. london could have red telephone boxes, the queen, st pauls, pigeons etc. These are some nice colourful examples of the kind of thing I have in mind. I think it'd be a really nice way to break up the book and add those elements of personality..

even with interior design you can still really see that London influence. Grandeur, elegance, old vs. new and royalty!
